The Women's Hundred which was launched last year by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) was a grand success. The unique tournament is back with a new edition and promises to be even better. Defending champions Oval Invincibles will square off against Northern Superchargers in the tournament opener on Thursday, August 11, at The Kia Oval in London.

The Australia cricketers, who missed the last edition due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, will be available from the start of the season. They are expected to add new flavours to the tournament, given that they are fresh from Commonwealth Games win. They defeated India in the gold medal match at Edgbaston.
