Australia announced their T20I squad for the India tour in December. With Meg Lanning on a break and Rachael Haynes having retired, Alyssa Healy is all set to take charge of the team with Tahlia McGrath being named as her deputy.

Former Irish international, Kim Garth earned a maiden call-up along with the talented left-handed batter, Phoebe Litchfield. Australia's squad distribution is as follows:

Wicket-keepers - 2
Spin all-rounders  - 3
Pace all-rounders - 8
Pacers - 2

Amanda-Jade Wellington was left out of the squad despite having been a consistent performer in every WBBL season and the Hundred. She last played a T20I for Australia on 31st March 2018 at Brabourne.
