MAGICIANS win the match by 14 runs. Brave collapsed from 110/1 to 122/9 to lose the game.

Over #17: Brave have committed hara-kiri here. Gurrey throws it away, Richardson throws it away (run-out), & now Barriball throws it away. All 3 in quick succession to allow Magicians to storm back into the game.

Over #16: The game is moving out of the Magicians' hands. They should take a gamble on Sarah Asmussen and give her an over with Richardson having promoted herself ahead of Nensi.

Brave have done really well to stay 1 down after 10 overs, but their RRR is still above 8. It will be the spinners operating majorly and Satterthwaite could bring herself in if Asmussen continues to struggle.

After 10 overs: CM - 63/4 | NB - 65/1

After PP: CM - 45/2 | NB - 34/1

Caitlin Gurrey & Bernadine Bezuidenhout have been in top form in the HBJ. To follow are Sam Barriball at #3, Nensi Patel at #4, Eimear Richardson at #5 (scheduled order).

INNS 2: Northern Brave are still the favorites to win this game

CANTERBURY FINISHES WITH 146 AFTER BRAVE PUT DOWN 5 CATCHES & WERE WAYWARD WITH THE BALL AND WITH THEIR FIELDING

Over #17: Lea Tahuhu walks in to join her wife, Satterthwaite. Her weakest match-up will be the exact ones bowling the next 3 overs which should be Graham-Wellington-Graham! It will be hard for her to survive. Tahuhu's stumps will be in danger against Graham or could sky one to the off against Wellington.

Over #15: Nensi Patel drops the 4th catch off the innings and this came off her own bowling against Gerken. But, it was a very very tough one!

3 dropped catches so far: 1 by Phoebe Graham & 2 by Marama Downes - Both on debut for Northern Brave

Over #11Abby Gerken walks in. She is an opener having to adjust her game in the middle-order and it would be very hard for her to face the spin of Wellington & Nensi Patel who should be introduced soon.

Over #10: Graham could pose a serious threat to Jodie Dean with her extra pace.

Over #8: Brave's 2nd overseas recruit, Phoebe Graham comes into the attack. She is from England and is the quickest bowler in this side.

Over #7: Wellington with her first over for Northern Brave and she bowls a very good one. She has played NZ domestic cricket before, so these conditions are not alien to her. The last ball is a no-ball as there was an extra fielder outside the circle.

Over #6: Lucy Boucher also gets her 3rd over & Anderson who thrives at smashing the short balls, nails the pull shot for a 4. It was the 3rd bouncer bowled at her & she has smoked them all.

Boucher's 1st wicket: Caught at mid-off by Amanda-Jade Wellington
Boucher's 2nd wicket: Caught at mid-off by Amanda-Jade Wellington

Over #5: Shriya Naidu is given her 3rd over in the spell with the new ball as she is getting the ball to swing with Laura Hughes in her sights.

Over #4: Laura Hughes (wk) promoted to #3. She generally bats below #7.

Over #2: Lucy Boucher swings the ball away which is why we see one slip in place

Over #1: Shriya Naidu looks to swing the ball back in & has a tendency to ball wides | Kate Anderson is a quick runner and is always on the lookout for cheeky singles

Kate Anderson faces her former team as Amanda-Jade Wellington will play against one of her coaches in the Adelaide Strikers in Amy Satterthwaite.

INNS 1: Projected score range = 125-132
