ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022: Team-wise warm-up schedule, timings, venues

The 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup warm-up fixtures are scheduled to take place in New Zealand between February 27 to March 2. 

The eight best teams which have qualified for the World Cup are – Australia, England, India, South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and the host nation, New Zealand. 

6-times champion Australia, last edition’s semi-finalist South Africa, 2-times finalist India and defending champion England directly qualified for the tournament and New Zealand being the hosts. Whereas Bangladesh, West Indies, and Pakistan qualified due to their better rankings as WC Qualifiers in Zimbabwe last year was abandoned mid-way due to the breakout of Omicron. Bangladesh will be playing their first-ever 50-over World Cup.

Recently Bangladesh played in the CWG Qualifiers. Whereas Australia-England and South Africa-West Indies are coming into the tournament after competing in the Ashes and a bilateral series respectively. 

Hosts New Zealand are currently playing a bilateral series against India. So, the rest of the six teams have reached New Zealand and have started their training after undergoing a revised 7-day quarantine.
