With the Commonwealth Games days away from its curtain raiser, it's the start of a tri-series that has Ireland hosting Australia and Pakistan. Each nation plays the other twice and the first game of the series gets underway tomorrow with Australia playing Pakistan at 8:30 PM IST. Pakistan has been actively playing some good brand of cricket and is a side with momentum and in decent form. Whereas, Australia will take the field for the first time since their ICC ODI World Cup win earlier this year.
VENUE: Bready Cricket Club, Ireland
The surfaces at this venue have been good for batting, while it does get a bit difficult to bat on during the 2nd innings. Spinners do play a big role in the 2nd innings as the ball doesn't come on very well and pacers opting for variations can help them have a good outing.
