TOSS - Team winning the toss will look to bowl first.

The Buffalo Park is basically an unknown territory for Women's T20Is with only one game having been played here. That game was in 2018 between South Africa & India which was won by India by a margin of 9 wickets. So, teams will be cautious and wouldn't know what a good score is & will opt to take a safer route of bowling 1st.

MOST RUNS -

Smriti Mandhana for India - Mandhana being a left-handed batter often ends up troubling the new ball pacers who rely on swing. They end up drifting down the leg (if an inswing bowler to LHBs) or bowl it wide outside the off (if an outswing bowler to LHBs). They take their time to adjust & before they do, Mandhana is already 20+. Marizanne Kapp would face this issue as she shapes the ball back in & Mandhana's strength is exactly that.

Laura Wolvaardt for South Africa - You can't look past the class of Laura Wolvaardt. Here only challenge is going to be Renuka Singh if she decides to shape the ball back in regularly with India potentially opting to have their WK standing up to the stumps.

MOST WICKETS -

Anjali Sarvani for India - India finally has a left-arm pacer for the first time ever in their T20I history. South African batters don't have much experience facing this angle & Sarvani should exploit that weakness if she is able to find some swing.

Ayabonga Khaka for South Africa - She was one of the best pacers last year for South Africa. While she has been encountering a problem controlling the ball of late, she could still be the key bowling at the death.
